Youth Ministries

Elkin First United Methodist Church

Students are not just the future of the church. They are the church right now.

Our Youth Ministry is a place for middle and high school students to build real friendships, ask honest questions, and discover how God’s grace meets them in everyday life. Whether they’ve grown up in church or are stepping in for the first time, they belong here.

Living Our Faith

Monthly Service Projects

One Saturday each month, students serve in the community through hands-on mission opportunities. We believe faith is something we live, not just something we talk about.

First Visit

Walking into something new can feel like a lot. We get that.

When your student arrives, they will be welcomed, introduced to others, and invited into whatever is happening that day. There is no pressure to have the “right” answers or to know what to do. They can jump in at their own pace.

Students can come as they are. Comfortable clothes are just fine. If it’s a Sunday night, dinner is already taken care of.

If you have questions before your first visit, we would love to connect and help you feel at ease.

Safety and Care

All of our adult volunteers are Safe Sanctuaries trained and committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for every student.
