On Saturday, September 17 several of our youth and adults once again volunteered at the Mission Response Center in Terrell, NC.
Emma Aldridge tells about working at the WNCC Mission Response Center
Our youth group and others from the church have volunteered several times at the Mission Response Center in Terrell near Mooresville. At the MRC, which consists of a couple warehouse buildings, we organize and pack donations that will be sent to Armenia as part of Project Agape. The Project Agape Christmas boxes are sent to the MRC, as well. We also pack flood buckets that contain cleaning supplies and towels to be sent across the country. I’m sure some of those buckets have been sent to West Virginia and Louisiana under recent conditions. The MRC is an awesome local mission that benefits many, and we have a lot of fun and fellowship working there. On occasion, our youth group even meets up with our friends from a youth group from Mooresville, and we work together to check buckets and pack pallets. This ministry needs our continued support to bless those in Armenia and around the U.S.!
